ndy started his driving career delivering boats all over Europe, John o' Groats, Spain you name it Andy's been there.  Andy stepped back from the business to oversee and develop the land purchase and construction of our purpose built premises, now complete Andy is back !

LORRAINE HICKMAN


Lorraine started work as a transport clerk for ICI.  In 1980 Andy and Lorraine created Hickmans of Kidderminster with one small pickup.  Lorraine is the Transport Manager, overseeing all aspects of the business including Staff Development and training.
         
ACCOUNTS MANAGER
TRUDY WESTWOOD


Trudy joined the company in 1986 as a part time accounts clerk alongside her position as Clerical Officer at Dept of Social Security.  Her role has become full-time and has developed culminating in completing her AAT in 2005.  Her focus is now fully accounts based, running the accounts side of the business with a mindful eye on the cash flow.

VICTORIA HICKMAN


Victoria joined the company part time whilst completing her degree in Business Studies and Financial Services.  After gaining invaluable experience at external companies she rejoined Hickmans as PA to Andy and Lorraine.  Victoria has a broad understanding of the business and you can often find her helping out in other departments.
         
YARD SUPERVISOR
DAVID ASHDOWN


David joined the company in 2001 as a Class 3 driver.  He has worked his way through to his Class 1 and gained his forklift licence.  He has developed a good relationship with all of our customers and the respect of his colleagues.
David is now our senior driver and supervises loading operations.
  OPERATIONS MANAGER
ANDREW HICKMAN


Andrew joined the company in 2001 as a non-HGV driver.  He has worked his way through to gain a Class 1 and forklift licence.  Andrew took some time out from the family business to gain experience within a large organisation.  Since taking his CPC examination his position is now Operations Manager overseeing all drivers duties, vehicle routing and customers liaisons.
         
PALLETFORCE/SALES MANAGER
JAMES WESTWOOD


James joined the company in 2002 in an IT role having completed his BTEC in IT and CCNA.
His customer service skills very quickly became apparent alongside his dedication and commitment to ensuring customers receive the best service possible.
This has led to James naturally progressing to the role of Palletforce/Sales Manager.
  HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER
STEVEN HICKMAN


Steven rejoined the company in 2003 having gained his Class 1 licence after taking some time out from the family business to gain experience in a larger organisation.  His attention to detail made him a perfect candidate to train towards becoming our Health and Safety Officer.  Steven is currently on extended leave and we hope to welcome him back soon.

BECKY HICKMAN


Becky joined the company in 2005.
She combines administrative roles in accounts and operations with her full time studies in Business and Health and Social Care.

JANET READING


Janet joined the company in 2005 carrying out early morning clerical and routing duties.  Despite the early start Janet brings a calming influence to the morning rush.

BEVERLEY HICKMAN


Beverley joined the company in 2006 and keeps us spick and span and our new company offices shining.  Woe betide the person that drops litter on her watch.

Dale has recently joined the company and is proving to have excellent customer service and IT skills and is taking to his new role with enthusiasm.
