Hickmans New Mercedes 2456 Actros arrive

Here at Hickman’s Transport & Warehousing we have added a couple of top-flight Actros 2456's to our fleet.

We rate our drivers highly, ensuring we employ and they get only the best. That’s why we ordered two flat-floor MegaSpace cabs. “The cabs are superb, with very high quality living accommodation and bags of space,” says Lorraine. “Providing a comfortable place of work for our drivers is very important when we are asking them to stay out all week, not just for their own convenience, but in terms of safety too.

“Any truck and its cargo is only as safe as its driver, which is why we are very serious about making sure they are relaxed, rested and alert when they are out on the road.” An alert and comfortable driver is in command and takes better ownership of his responsibility to Us and our clients.

Work takes the trucks and their drivers across the UK and into Europe, so the big cabs on the 2546 tractor units will be welcomed by the drivers.  Andy and Lorraine also like the fact that Mercedes-Benz back-up stretches all the way across Europe.
